New Computer Need Client Advice
« on: 15 Feb 2009, 11:28:16 pm »
I just built a new computer Dual Core AMD (SSE3) with Geforce 8400 Graphics.

Which client should I be running?

I went through the 14 page thread, but got lost.

Got it installed. 3 processes running:
AK_v8b_win_SSE3_AMD_GPU_CPU_team.exe Using 50% CPU
AK_v8b_win_SSE3_AMD_GPU_CPU_team.exe Using 0% CPU
MB_6.08_mod_CPU_team_CUDA.exe Using 0% CPU

System Idle Process Using 50% CPU

Does that look correct?

AM I correct, does this config run 3 units at a time? one for each CPU (2), and one on the GPU? Messages say only two units, where are they running?

Looks like you forget about cc_config.xml

okay so I download the CC_config.xml rar. The number in there is currently "5". I would want to change that to "3" right?  Then just place that file in my \projects\berkeleyetc folder along with everything else from the previous package?

Okay got it installed, results:
running 3x AK_v8b_win_SSE3_AMD_GPU_CPU_team.exe
Two are using ~50% CPU, one is using 0% CPU
running 1x MB_6.08_mod_CPU_team_CUDA.exe
Using 0% CPU

Okay, now does that look right?
