SETI donations
« on: 19 Oct 2010, 01:43:55 pm »
I remember a while back Joe posted on SETI main about members making a $10.00 USD donation to SETI and what could be done if active members made this donation.  I also remember that there was little to no response.

I wonder how SETI and David Anderson would feel about officially making it a "suggested" yearly donation by the members.  Please note I am not making it mandatory, only a suggested donation to the project.  It may be enough to spur many members into donating.  And I agree that not having the ability to use Paypal is a major problem for many of our out of country users.

Flame retardant suit is on so "flame on".

Meh... sounds like a reasonable idea to me.

But then again, so does contributing to multiple projects instead of just whining when SETI is down... </rant>
