Hi...!

Here are runnig KWSN_2.4_MB_SSSE3.exe since last nigth with a Conroe Core 2 Duo under XP pro SP2 without problems...

A little improvement was observed... RAC is increasing with the same credits pendig.

The time of CPU to complete the same tipe of WU's is a 5% lower than with SSE3-Intel Core 2 optimized app... (Just like Crunch3r said in his site)

Congratulations Crunch3r. Is a little advance, but not the last... (i hope...)

Good job!

P.D.: There are in http://calbe.dw70.de/seti.html

I concur there is a small improvement in performance using SSSE3 binary on XP allthough it is a little early for me to quantify due varying work unit sizes.

I will run it on one machine for a few days while I drain the rest of my farm for the install.

Thanks to Crunch3r for the code ;D

Hi Scanman,  I think you need to download and run CPU-Z,  Because (could be wrong) I don't think those specs look quite right.   SSE5 & 3dNow are AMD features ... not Intel. & AFAIK SSE5 is not released yet?.

For a Xeon machine of that generation, If you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2, I suspect you would be looking for SSE2 Intel application from this site should be fine.

If you need a Windows Vista Compatible version the you'd need one of Crunch3r's builds.

Jason
