-107 errors
« on: 17 Jun 2010, 05:28:34 pm »

All day long I have been fighting MB errors using AK_v8b_win_SSSE3x.exe.  I have clocked back to stock speed, cleaned air filters and heat sinks.  CPU temp is now running at 105 degrees F which is 25 degrees F cooler than this morning.  Thing is this is occuring only on one of my three computers.

Now I have installed AK_v8b_win_SSE3_INTEL.exe and watching to see how it does.  File of error dump is included if anyone is interested.

"Maximum elapsed time exceeded"

And what connection to AKv8_SSSE3 ???
Sometimes it's worth to look and do some search through forums, instead of wipe and reinstall everything... thinking sometimes pay off  :P

I didn't know the meaning of the failure number.  Surely no connection to AKv8_sssE3 software.  I have now reseated the memory and trying again.

Who sets the maximum elapsed time?  These work units are failing at about 90%, just 10% remaining to do.  The predicted crunch time by Boinc now is about 8 minutes but normally take about 30 minutes to do.

no need to know any numbers, just look into file you attached. That message are in plain text there.
Estimates defined by BOINC.
You could try either remove flops field from app_info or wait when BOINC devs (that is, DA) fix estimates (looks like already done). But panic and total reinstall is not right reaction. By time you get new app working and downloaded tasks bug with estimation could be fixed already, that is - wrong impression that SSSE3 stopped work but SSE3 still works OK....

yes.......I never did have any flops estimates in this setup.

I had removed Boinc, removed all files from the Boinc data directory and reinstalled, attached to Boinc when the outage occured on Tuesday and Wednesday.
