I recived very strange results for my Atom-based netbook.
While UI under Vista is just VERY slow and under WinXP on same netbook UI just flying, SETI MB performs worser under WinXP than under Vista  :o
Bigger both Elapsed and CPU times. I was very surprised by this and did WinXP tests few times, even with WiFi/Bluetooth disabled and explorer stopped. Even in such conditions runtimes under XP bigger than under Vista.
Will re-do benchmarks under Vista, but nothing was changed in hardware since first tests (netbook's BIOS has no options to do any OCing and tweaking at all).
Anyone conducted more or less systematic Windows OSes performance comparison? (I know this was done few times between Windows and linux).

P.S. Both OSes (Vista and Windows XP SP3) are x86 cause Atom is 32-bit only, same SSSE3 AKv8b app was used of course.
