False alarm, it works, I just checked it by myself. It rebraned 5 tasks from my CPU cache (still have some CPU MB work) to ATi GPU.

Hi, I have to say that it's about one month or more that I have errors in optimized applications:
Program crash and microsoft notification. 4 or 5 times a day (sometimes more) on 2 Horts witth Nvidia GPU.
So I have installed all news versions of BOINC, Cuda Drivers and your last optimize apps (win 32).
But the problem (program abort) is still the same.
On this hosts I was using rebranding but after update to last versions  if I run this program I loose al tasks.
What else can I tell you to help you?

Franz

what exactly app do you use? (name of executable) What rebranding tool you use? (Fred's or Marius or? )
And, of course - stderr of failed task.

1) your last optimized apps (what else?) for win 32 [Win32 Lunatics' Unified Installer v0.37¨] with BOINC 6.10.58)
2) reschedule 1.9 (what else?)
3) How can I get it? I see only (after hours, when I see my monitor in the morning) the error message used by windows xp to communicate me that some application was in error during night. I don't know the run unit. How can I know it?

1) Lunatics installer can't be science application that perfomr work. It _installer_, it contains other apps.
I asked what executable you see in task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc in Windows to summon it).
2) There is eFmer (Fred's) Re-schedule, it should be used with latest builds, 1.9 deprecated now and not compatible with Lunatics 0.37 installer.

1.9 works fine IF you edit app_info and changes <plan_class> to cuda and only have <version_num> of 608.

I don't need the other tools, as fixing -177, in the new reschedule program.

Those are "-177" errors caused by a new server side est. time adjustments. You can find out how to avoid them in the New Recheduler thread.
Also, you might wanna try using <flops>xxx</flops> entries in your app_info.xml in order to hold your DCF arround 1.0
If you feel uncomfortable to manualy edit your app_info file, you can still use Fred's nice tool for that purpose too.

You'll need to do this when you have no cuda tasks though, otherwise you need to edit the client_state as well, if yu don't you trash all your cuda tasks (as I found out to my cost :o)

I find that myself minutes ago  ;D, but some people just doesn't feel so techie to manually overhaull their setups.
In which case, Fred's tool seems like a good option.

Ok, I have downoaded  eFmer (Fred's) Re-schedule
About exe:
1) AK_v8b_win_SSE3x.exe
2) Lunatics_x32f_win32_cuda30_preview.exe
The xexecutable in error is alwais AK_v8b_win_SSE3x.exe

It's CPU-only app, so CUDA drivers will not help. Check if your CPU has SIMD of SSE3 level. If error arise from re-schedule - try new re-scheduler tool.
