35% performance improvement with version 2.2B
« on: 30 Mar 2007, 12:54:16 am »
Just so it doesn't look like I am whining :) , here are speed comparisons between Linux 1.3 and 2.2B applications.

Host: dual-CPU Intel Xeon Nocona. (64-bit compatible), HT enabled, 4 SAH applications are executed at once.
Results: averaged time from 3 workunits, each ~0.4ar, ~60 credits.

1.3 SSE2-P4 :  22337 seconds

2.2B  SSE3-P4 : 14510 seconds

Improvement : 35%

Go Simon!
