and of course VLAR's aren't sent to Nvidia GPU's anymore,

Claggy

Tnx info! The new question is, do VLAR process reasonably on ATI GPU's? Or not process at all? I have two ATI equipped PCs.

My cache is set to 3 days, hope that is currently "reasonable". Net is always-on WiFi.
Tnx Art

VLAR's process reasonably well on ATI GPU's, while there is a slowdown compared to running them on a CPU, it's not nearly as bad as running them on Nvidia GPUs,

See my host's VLAR Wu's: All tasks for computer 5427475

2 Nvidia cards here, a GTS 250 and a GTX 460
i have rescheduler set to "always move VLAR's to CPU".

Should i do the same with VHAR's or leave them to run on GPU's ?
Because we are NOT alone.

No, you want your card to get VHAR WU's those are the easiest to process and nVidia cards love them

Actually the best performance (compared to Q9450 CPU) NV GPUs achieve on midrange tasks.
VHARs take too much CPU overhead to be effective.

Only 118. worth to try

Tried 11-7, gave up and went back to 11-5 after an hour as CPU usage on ATI r521 went up to a whole core from around 5%

not looking any better with the 11-8 SDK2.5 - still getting far too much CPU usage
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=2002469227

Run time   6,620.81
CPU time   5,084.54

seeing whole CPU core being used for long periods of time, even on low blanking tasks
will run for the rest of the day and see if it gets any better

Working with AMD APU E-350 (HD 6350) and ver 11.6 having so much problems (flickering screen, restarted GPU drivers, not responsive computer, etc.)
with ATI MB optimized, only with this application.

with Collatz no issue or really seldom.

From the ATI MB release Notes:

-period_iterations_num 1 (default value)
If you see lags in GUI or even driver restarts - add this parameter with value >1 (integer numbers).
