I tend to use 32-bit apps for everything.  I figure that the 32-bit apps have had more time to mature and have had more thorough testing to eliminate problems and bugs.  Eventually, I'll switch to 64-bit apps ... but for now I just have 64-bit Vista to get full use out of my 4GB of RAM.
