Gecko_R7 posted at the SETI@home board, that the opt. Team would like to hear at this board the meanings and experiences..  :)



Thank you to all who made it possible this new apps!! 



My QX6700 (before with S@H 5.15 Rev. 2.4V SSE3, now with SSSE3x) need ~ 5 to 10 W more..
And the CPU is ~ 1 - 2 °C hotter.. and sometimes for short time (it depend at which WU-progress) 1 - 2 °C hotter additional.. (so complete 2 - 4 °C hotter)
Maybe RAM-area air ~ 1 °C hotter also..

QX6700-2.66 @ 3.14 GHz OC to now stable..

So, your CPU is used better now :)
Wattage and temperature increase are just consequences of that fact ;)
