Title: gmail classified your signup greeting mail as spam
Post by: archae86 on 08 Jul 2006, 11:56:53 pm
I just registered on this site this evening after the Windows aps release announcement.

I've been a gmail user for about a year and a half, and this is the first time gmail has classified as spam something I hope was not.

I clicked the "not spam" button.  If more of us do this, perhas the classification will get changed.

Simon, this had better not be a spam scheme.  But I don't think it is.  Way too much work on the back story, and way too narrow an audience for most spam schemes.

Lol,
damn! You have unmasked my master plan!

A week or so ago, someone took the liberty of getting my site classified as "pornographic". So I guess gmail classifying as spam may have something to do with that, still - even though they changed the listing after I wrote them some very unfriendly mails (www.securecomputing.com), it may still be in loads of lists.

If anyone should find out about any access blocks, bad classifications in blocklists etc, then please let me know! I will try and get it resolved/changed - if I never find out about it, it's hard to change, though.

Regards & thanks,
Simon
