Although I have inserted a vga-dummy BOINC did not find my GTX470 over remote desktop.
If I use a monitor directly connected BOINC works normally.
Any idea why BOINC did not find the GPU ?

remote desktop uses it's own generic sVGA drivers, which do not support Cuda. Use VNC instead (I use TightVNC but there are others). You'll need to get things set up with a monitor attached, then once the VNC server is operational you should be able to run headless (with a vga dummy if necessary)

I'm using team viewer without any issues for gpu projects.

I really wonder to know how to do it, as I'm mariner and use to be away home, sometimes I like to do a RDC, but always thinking about the GPU work will be stopped and most of the times ended in error.
what should be the way to do a RDC and not to stop the GPU work??

radmin (http://www.radmin.com/products/radmin) is the best... I can even watch any videos on the remote. Full colors - no issues. Speed is the greatest. Take a look at the comparisons here (http://www.radmin.com/products/comparisons/). Cost is $50 though.

In "my times" RAdmin had very nice trojan inside ;)
Better to stop on VNC protocol ;)

I ran seti, einstein and collatz while using team viewer, which even has a portable version.
While running gpugrid and folding, I did experience some issues, but not too often.

For me too Teamviewer5 is very good. Even play it on my iPhone... ;)

I've found Logmein to work well and a big plus is it's free.
-
I prefer LogMeIn as well
Only downside with the free version is there's no file transfer tool on it

I got Ultra VNC (http://www.uvnc.com/download/index.html) server (non commercial license is free) running now on v8-SK01. On my R3600 Atom VNC Viewer is installed.
I can connect to v8-SK01 and see BOINC is running and is using my GTX470. VGA Dummy connected.
13.09.2010 23:13:55 NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTX 470 (driver version 25896, CUDA version 3010, compute capability 2.0, 1248MB, 726 GFLOPS peak)
Thank you all for your helpful comments.
