Hi guys - grateful you educate me on an overall principle.
Integer speed is the key (not the only) indicator of crunching capability/potential/speed ?
The Benchmak speed BOINC calculates for Integer, I assume that includes the processing power of the attached card? or is it just the cpu?

The nearest thing we have for indicating speed, apart from SETI itself, is the floating point (not integer) benchmark. That's for the CPU only, and it's not very good: AMD CPUs tend to do quite well on the benchmark, but less well on SETI: Intels have lower benchmarks, but crunch faster.
For GPUs, we have nothing at all except the manufacturer's specification sheets.
