Title: Will the releases thread still work?
Post by: hiamps on 23 Apr 2008, 10:42:17 am
I clicked on notify for the releases thread, will this still work when new apps come out? I wasn't sure if this was something Simon did or part of the board. Getting real tired of the Moderation at Seti Boards. Don't want to miss the release.

Not sure, but I do seem to get an email for other threads I've selected to be notified about.  Why not test the feature by activating notification on a thread that is posted to often ... we'll then get someone to post to it and you'll have your answer  :)

I know the notify works...I was wondering if someone will post to that thread so that all that have all that have subscribed in the past will get that notification....I will click the notify button on this thread for GP's...

Ahhh I see, well, that thread appears to be locked, I presume by Simon. I guess either a moderator, Such as Gecko_R7 or Joe Segur, or our friendly administrator KWSN - johnnyv , can unlock it when the time comes.  But that iIS a presumption....  If worst comes to worst and we can't post there I'll send you a PM, how's that ?

When the time comes, I'll certainly post to that thread if Gecko or jonnyv don't beat me to it.

Trust me the apps suck. They're not worth hanging to it!  ::)     ;D

Nah just kiddin, still around the 1st of May i presume, stay tuned to Lunatics and S@H Forums , the app should be downloadable directly after it's released to the wild..

Jason may correct me if i'm wrong because it's he that's finishing it all up.

Kind Regards Vyper

Where: Here @ Downloads Section + Some Mirrors will be available, which we'll post in NC as they come online (Won't be all at once)

When: Not too long, Cannot set an absolute UTC time because of the number of people involved over the world.  Also have to tidy up some information, Get it cross checked with one another for each version.

So I guess this is the big hangout today, hope the servers can handle it. With no timeline I expect the Online users/last 15m
list to get quite big. Oh the excitment....
