Title: Compute Errors

Could someone explain why these happen please?

Are you running the graphics version? The unofficial BOINC Wiki article (http://boinc-wiki.ath.cx/index.php?title=Unrecoverable_error_for_result_'(result)'_(_-_exit_code_-1073807364_(0x40010004))) suggests it's usually related to graphics. A Google search turns up a lot of cases for various BOINC projects where that seems likely, and perhaps suggests the problem is more in the BOINC client than the science applications.

Yes I am using the graphic version. My system is on 24/7. I occasionally look at the graphics for a WU for a few minutes, sometimes by clicking the "Show Graphics" button in Boinc Manager, sometimes by looking at the screensaver.

The error has only happened once in at least 20 WUs, and it did occur shortly after I pressed "Show Graphics" on a freshly started WU.
