Sorry, Automatic installation is not supported for your system.

can't find boinc dir.(c:\progam files\boinc\ is where it is by default)

Core2Duo E6600 with 4MB Cache
Motherboard - EVGA NF68 680i
2GB Crucial PC2-8500 5-5-5-15 Ram @ 1066
(4) WD 150 GB 10k Raptor Drives with 16MB Cache in Raid-0 for 600GB Striped Set
BFG 7800 GT OC
Plextor Sata DVD Burner
WinXP Pro SP2 Complete Updates

I show you all this in case you need it to figure out why the app sees SSE3 but suggests SSE2 is faster?
Also the fact that your app cannot find boinc in it's default directory.

Hi Azzitude,

a suggestion - the run times you pasted (53-54 seconds) indicate you ran the "short" tests. On quick systems, the short test has almost no significance because the difference between apps is very small. Please move the slider over to "long", it won't take very long at all on your C2D.

Also, it doesn't suggest SSE2 is quicker than SSE3; if you read that line again, it says "skipping other apps - SSE2 is quicker than SSE if supported." Meaning, SSE and MMX apps will be slower than what was already tested. Clear? ;) The app it really suggests can be found below the text field on the right.

I'm also wondering why it isn't benching the 1.41 Core 2 app I packaged with that auto-installer ;) After all, it's definitely the version you'd want to be running on that system.

HTH,
Simon.

I looked and cannot find that ....all that was there is SSE3 and it did choose to load SSE2 on its own when I finally got it to work ... I have now just Manually changed the files to SSE3 but cant find the C2D Files

EDIT: I now have the answer ..... I was using 2.0 ...just downloaded 1.3 ... keep up the good work, I'll have to clean my glasses and read more before diving in !!!
