yeah, that's Mark's userid. Dunno what's up this time, but they don't like discussion of mod action on the boards, I'd suggest to use PM instead to enquire if you really want to know. Somebody probably took some offence and redx'd a post and will go to vote, etc... Probably give him a short stint in the cooler and put him back again, unless there was some outrageous misdeed that I missed. (as usual I miss all the excitement :D)

they finally pm'd me with that. yeah so how is one to know it was moderator action... I was thinking more along the lines of "project action".
was more interested in if someone got caught cheating or something. your porbably right and he got in a argument with someone. I don't see banning a person from the project, but maybe locking their posting privages. they even archived all his posts...

By my understanding "Banned" means "[temporarily] banned from posting on the forums" (not banned from crunching the project). I think there were others that had "Termination of User Contracts", which I think is a different story. Also, I think "Banned" is a moderator action, so we can be pretty sure it was one .

it is kind of cool to have a "banished" ID... i was wondering if he changed his ID and then somehow toggled it over to "Anonymous" which is unlinkable (can't pick).
I hope they cool off and relinquish his ban

Hi RottenMutt,
I have to request, out of respect for what the founder of this board, and others here would probably wish, that from this point any comments related to politics from the main forum be kept away from here. This is a coding forum. Thankyou for your respecting this. I am locking this topic, and may move it later if deemed appropriate.
Regards Jason.
