Title: gpu crunching with a quadro 2700M
Post by: rearden on 06 Mar 2009, 05:28:27 pm
I have a dell laptop with an Nvidia Quadro 2700M.    This card is listed on their website as being CUDAable.  Nvidia say go to dell for drivers (there is nothing on their driver download site for the 2700M).
I have updated the latest drivers available from Dell.  BOINC reports CUDA found.

Given all that, SETI gpu workunits error out after a few seconds (so does gpugrid).  What do I need to try next?

FWIW folding also complains and says that I don't have a compatible gpu or the latest drivers.    My driver date is 1/20/2009  6.14.something.

Is there a way to get more complete error information?
Any recommendation on what things to change?
