My old USR Router is dropping out from time to time. She's been a good one. :'(
Any ideas for a new (cheap but dependable) adsl router with at least 4 wired ports would be helpful...There's so durn many brands out there anymore it makes ones head hurt. :o

Take a close look at Netgear DGND3300-v2 Dual mode router.
Mine has been serving me well for a year or so. Excellent performance.

I may have to go the WalMart Route...My local ISP (Monopoly) furnishes my Modem with my plan plus that exedes my yearly Puter budget. :(
Crap they are not even IP V6 ready yet. :-[

My I.S.P. provides me with the latest routers (WLAN, SIEMENS) also still use an old hub from NETGEAR (DS 104) 10/100MBit
which still works OK, it's over 10 years old ::)
And IPv6 is a must, IMHO..... ;) , from the grapevine, most of the IPv4 adresses are given out and new WEB-Sites, will,
sooner or later, have to use both or only IPV6.
