RESOLVED: Reschedule 1.9 DOES NOT work on WIN XP 64-bit...

(1/1)

FrostKing9:
Reschedule 1.9 doesn't work on WIN XP 64-bit... at least I can't get it to work.  It keeps giving me <ERROR:\boinc.exe does not exist.>   It worked great on my 32-bit WIN XP units.

I installed BOINC to its standard directories, installed Win64 Lunatics' Unified Installer v0.2 and the CUDA 2.3 dll's.  That all works great and crunches fast.  But I can't rebrand workunits in order to have enough CUDA WU's.

Here is the build I have:
ASROCK x58 Deluxe board
Intel i7-950 Processor
WIN XP PRO 64-bit - up to date with all patches & fixes
GTX 295 Video Card
............... Running both GPU cores separately
............... Running 4 CPU's - no hyperthreading

I attached the .elf file... maybe that will help to narrow down the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If this is the same problem I had, the fix is quite simple.......

Go into the settings tab and put in the correct file paths for the Boinc main and data directories.......
\boinc.exe .....should be c:\Program files\boinc....
Or whatever is correct for your installation.

Make the corrections, close the rescheduler, and relaunch it.

It does work on XP x64...I am using it on 2 of my rigs with that OS.

FrostKing9:
Thanks for the boost.  That worked great -- and Reschedule 1.9 DOES WORK with Win XP Pro 64-bit.

I don't know why I didn't think of doing that - I suppose just too much other stuff on my mind.

Thanks again   ;D
