My Boinc keeps on getting stuck on communicating with client.
Thank you

Hmm, not sure what would cause that.  That might be a better question for on NumberCrunching forum. (Unless anyone else around here has some better ideas? )

About all work get problems.
It's BOINC issues. Science apps don't request work at all, they just process tasks BOINC give to them.
So these problems are not the topic of this thread. Much better to report them on BOINC own forum.
But doing this don't forget that if there is no work for particular app (AP or MB) at this moment then no BOINC version could get work in that case.

It's replacement for CUDA MB part of V10a packs. Intended to improve performance on multy-GPU hosts. As was shown on main site current builds stops (all) when one of CUDA apps loads its new task. If you have only single GPU board you don't need this upgrade at all.

Sweet thanks again for the prompt response.

Guess I'll start using that file then!

On my AMD 3400+ 8800GT is there any way to get only the gpu to do work, the is useless. This seems really slow for cuda.
Thank you

Theres a file inside the seti.at.home folder where all the files go that says number of gpus, that the purpose of this file. Do I put two in it, or do I just change my cc file.
Thank you

May I ask one question in return? ;)
Do anyone ever read first page where all instructions listed ? ;D
if file says number of GPUs I would guess that the number in this file should be consistent with number of GPUs installed (if first page with instructions doesn't clearly say something else).
Sorry for sarcasm but.... ;D

this file needed for team to work correctly in multi-GPU config.
cc_config.xml needed by BOINC to cheat it. Pretty different purposes.

Gecko_R7 and I recently had a PM discussion about this.  The answer is no.

Only issue I'm having is I'm only getting AP work.  Not sure why, could be due to version of Boinc.  I do see this in Boinc's Seti properties.

Please see thread at:

http://lunatics.kwsn.net/5-windows/problem-downloading-seti-enhanced-astropulse-ok.msg15043.html;topicseen#msg15043

and on Number crunching the is some similar thread.  It's a Boinc problem.
