WU fail with optimized application

I was sent a link to here from a friend that he said would optimize seti for me.  I am running the stock application now. but if someone could please give me some detailed instructions on how to install and use the gpu/astropulse optimized application i would be greatful.  my system has c2d 2.4ghz 512 nvidia 9600 with 4 gig ram vista home premium x64
