Yeah that would take a couple of days to show change,  If it seems to be crunching without error I'd give it time. Sounds like it is doing the job  ;)

I think you may be referring to the installer from the 2.2B package.  That is outdated and there has been no such Installer made for 2.4 or 2.4V clients. 

The current best correct means of selecting the application is to examine the CPU specifications using such as CPU-Z and choose the right one by name... Naturally there may be some problem with the machine, its configuration or the incorrect app may be in use. We have no way to establish if this is or isn't the case, and would be guessing.
