Any new 2.4V for linux?
Raistmer:
2.4V for linux 32/64 bit contains 5.15 versioned executables. Some glitch with naming ?

There's no 2.4V for linux atm. So there's no glitch at all.
However, the optimizations you'll see in the S@H stock application for both linux and windows are ALL based on 2.2B source code( wich is, again based on a very old 5.15 stock s@h app.)
For later relased 2.4V linux apps there will posibbly be the same version thag on the executables ... 5.15... So all in all no need to worry about that at all.
;)

ah, 2.4_Linux64_kernel_2.6_generic_SSE2.tar.bz2, not 2.4V .. my mistake, sorry ::)
BTW, is this version faster than latest stock one?

Let's see, main group of developers took some code optimizations from this site and put them into the new version of seti application code... and called it 5.21. Then, they fixed some bugs and called it 5.28. But you've been running the optimized code (even more optimized due to a specialized compiler) all along.
