2nd processor goes to sleep?

Herus:
Since about a month all my computers, with a dual core, the 2nd core goes to sleep after about half an hour. Is this done by windows or the optimized apps??
Hope someone can help me

Well, I solved the problem by updating to boinc 5.10.7 All the computers are functioning normal again.
