True, Simon is a civilized individual who understands that Beta testing isn't about who can get the most credit. The task is to test the stock application and the parts of the server code which have been changed for multibeam.

That said, I am running personal builds with many of our optimizations adapted to the 5.17 code as built using DevC++/MinGW. I hope that Eric Korpela will have time to add those changes to the official code base so all users can be more productive.

do you have a copy of your 5.17 codebase online ? I'd like to try it.
(for my Alpha ... unfortunately the 2.2B code doesn't work the way i was wanting it to be)

I'm still trying to get it organized for Eric to merge, will let you know when there's something available.
