Vanishing post Test thread

What confused me was, i created a thread on sunday and it showed up O.K.
Revisited a few times and modified it as well.
Still seemed to be O.K.
Next morning the thread was gone. :'(

That seems one likely cause indeed, I'm sure the new server has it's own version of MySQL installed and we're running old forum/portal software which could have some incompatibility.

Toby Murray made a database dump from the old server and used it to set up the new server, but the new IP address took some time to propagate through the DNS system. I think probably that dump was taken just before you created the thread and you continued to see the thread until you got the new address.
From the PMs Toby sent me, this was a rush job because there was a bill coming due on the old server which they decided to avoid.

Edit: says 'Reply #30 on: Today at 05:56:58 AM', Posted it at 09:56 BST, or 08:56 UCT, not at 05:56
Edit 2: Changed the time offset from 1 to 5 hours, now reads the correct local time.
