I had Jason here to protect and defend me back then, and you and he have departed ways, I know.

I was also here when Simon left, for reasons and whereabouts still unbeknown to me.......

I know I don't 'taste and compare' as much as I used to........nor am I asked to since Jason left.

It's all gotten much more complicated for me to comprehend these days.
My mind is not what is was 10 years ago.

If you want your court jester to stick around, at least feign a little laughter at my jokes.
If you do not, just kick my out because you believe my old carcass no longer has a place here.
