cuda_fermi WUs on non-Fermi GPU?
« on: 26 Apr 2012, 12:15:54 am »
I don't know how long this has been going on, but I just noticed a MB 6.10 (cuda_fermi) WU loaded into my 9800GT - is this normal?

Also, mildly related - Is there any way to make the <count> attribute GPU specific? (ie, run 2 WU/GPU on my GTX550, but only 1 on the 9800GT)

Since you are running optimized, BOINC takes the highest version number and uses it for all WU, and of course the X41g runs perfectly fine on both old and new cards.

On the other issue, not currently.
